At different times in our lives, we all find ourselves in need of someone to listen to us–someone to help us make sense of our lives and circumstances. At these times, it is good to know there is a safe place we can go to seek healing and help.
Shepherd provides a Biblical perspective on family or individual struggles. We want to provide prayer and Scripture as an integral part of confidential, Christian counseling. Let us be your support.
Prayer: Prayer is central to the heart of Shepherd of the Hills Church. We are passionate about prayer and desire to take every opportunity to pray for the requests of the church body. Submit your prayer request HERE.
Caregivers: Stephen Ministers are not counselors; they are trained lay caregivers. Their role is to listen and care—not to give advice or counsel. Stephen Ministers are also trained to recognize when a care receiver’s need exceeds what they can provide. When that happens they work with care receivers to help them receive the level of care they really need.
Professional Counseling: Jack Lipski is a Licensed Certified Counselor for Shepherd of the Hills. Jack completed his Master’s Degree in Counseling at Colorado Christian University in 1992. Presently, Jack serves as half-time School Counselor and half-time Church Counselor.
Pastoral Care: When life hurts the most, it helps to have a pastor to provide care and guidance. Contact the church office at 303-798-0711 for more information about weddings, funerals, hospital visits, or pastoral guidance.
Financial Peace University: Our Financial Assistance program is designed to help individuals get clear of debt and experience financial freedom.
Parenting Classes: Who does God want me to be as a parent, and how will I create environments in my home for Him to be at work in the unique children that He has entrusted to me? Check out the different programs we offer to help parents pass down their faith to the following generation.
