Shepherd of the Hills Young People (SHYP)
The teen years mark a key transitional stage in life. Moving from childhood to adulthood is an upheaval! But God uses times of change to bring great growth. That’s where the Senior High staff and volunteers comes alongside parents—helping young men and women know God intimately, read His Word accurately, share and defend their faith, serve others, and develop deep relationships.

National Youth Gathering:
Held every three years, our students travel to a large city in the United States and join 35,000 other Christian youth praising, learning, and telling others about Jesus. Our next trip is to Minneapolis the summer of 2019. Click HERE to read more details.
Summer Mission Trips:
When our youth are not attending the National Youth Gathering, they have the opportunity to participate in a week long mission project. Our last trip was to Estes Park to help rebuild homes for flood victims. We are currently looking at a week long mission trip to Nevada on the Indian Reservation.
Oversees Mission Trip:
We often send groups to Cambodia to help a Children’s Street Ministry. Contact Jodie Stoltenow, JStoltenow@sothfamily.org, for more information.
